I love the derma roller and wish I would have gotten one much sooner. I've used it once and followed with Skin Signals Solution. I'm using it for general anti-aging. I do have some deep expression lines and loss of firmness that I'd like to improve. I noticed improvement in minor blemishes the following day. I have taken the last two summers off doing my routine, since Fall is here it's back to work... slapping on Super Cop 2X and LacSal on a regular basis, and chemical peeling every other week, I exfoliate when my skin allows it which is frequently too...not fun, but I have seen results.

I have reduced the look of my scarring aprox 50+% over the last 24 months and as a bonus I have very minimal wrinkling which is rare for a 55 year old fit guy that loves the sun and I don't deny myself, I never will, what I love to do is outside in the sun. I will do 7 needling sessions over the next 8 months with the Derminator, buy some more CP's from Doc, order some fresh chemical peel and suck it up and do it...I'm hoping for another 25% improvement over the next year...putting one foot in front of the other I plan on winning this battle!

Why a More Effective Method is Needed for Scars

Dermatologists often recommend deep chemical peels for scars, but if the dermatologist or esthetician is not highly skilled, injury and scarring may be the result. We get many telephone calls from people who have had deep chemical peels for scars and ended up with worse scarring than their initial scars, or laser treatments that left permanent skin damage.

Additional Suggestions
Stronger beta hydroxy acids speed up the process but also increase the chances of irritation or chemical burns. Skin Biology's gentle LacSal Cream and LacSal Serum are formulated at pH 3.6. Some customers and professional clinics use stronger salicylic acids or 30% to 70% hydroxy acids to loosen the scar tissue, then apply the copper peptide product. It is important to wear a 15+ SPF sunscreen after an acid peel.

If you have very sensitive skin, always start with our mildest copper peptide: Super GHK-Copper Cream or Serum. If you are prone to oily skin, use the oil-free serum versions of our products such as Super CP Serum (AM) and Exfol Serum (PM).

Be sure that you are using an effective method of abrasion (manual or chemical). Many clients have improved their results by using a stronger hydroxy acid (i.e. lactic acid 40% peel once a month). Or research micro needling devices to help improve penetration of copper peptides and heighten visible improvements in your skin.

If you have combination-to-oily skin type, use the serum/liquid oil-free versions of our products. If you have normal-to-dry skin type, use the creams. For spot-treating specific areas, Super Cop 2X is a powerful product that works well on all blemishes, marks, and discolorations.
