Reduce the Appearance of Skin Tags

Skin tags often fall off naturally and alpha or beta hydroxy acids are known to speed this procedure. The SRCPs help this process by aiding the recovery of normal skin around the skin tag.

1

Exfoliate with LacSal Cream or Exfol Cream
In the morning, apply to the skin tag. You can apply more hydroxy acid during the day if you have no irritation. But reduce the amount if your skin become irritated.

The key is to keep working on the skin tag
Many skin tags fall off in a short time but some are more resistant and slowly diminish. Significant results should be evident in about one month.

If This Does Not Work Well Enough For You

Stronger beta hydroxy acids will speed the procedure but also increase the chances of irritation or chemical burns. The Skin Biology LacSal Cream and LacSal Serum is a 10% hydroxy acid (8.5% lactic - 1.5% salicylic) formulated at pH 3.2. Some customers and clinics use stronger salicylic acids or 30% to 70% alpha hydroxy acids to loosen the scar tissue then apply the copper peptide product. Lactic acid is the most natural and gentlest alpha hydroxy acid.

For 70% hydroxy acids, you need a skin expert to work with you. Some estheticians apply a 70% glycolic is applied with a cotton tip for 6 minutes, then the acid is washed off, and a SRCP product is applied. Repeating this procedure for about a week often removes the tags.

I have been using Trireduction P&R with retinol and hydroxy acids with great success on my lifelong problem with skin tags. I used to have them removed by freezing or surgery and always had scars afterward. Now I apply the two cream daily to a tag and in about three weeks they either just dry up and fall off or they turn red and swell up, then fall off. Absolutely no scars!

I used Super Cop - and nothing else - on some skin tags and in two weeks they fell off. Super Cop was a little irritating, so I used it only once daily.

Hello Dr. Pickart,
I spoke to you on the phone about my UV damage incurred while working at a suntan parlor. I followed your recommendation of using P&R 3 and working my way up to Trireduction. I used the P&R3 for a month, and about two days after I switched to Trireduction, a skin tag that had developed on my face after a few weeks at the tanning parlor turned red and fell off!
So I want to thank you and am very encouraged, because I have been extremely despondent over the UV damage to my skin, as I thought it was irreversible.

MC @yahoo.com

I have a chronic problem with skin tags. Many of these have been removed surgically but this always leaves scars.
Lately, I've been using Trireduction P&R with Retinol and hydroxy acids very successfully on skin tags. Most tags just fall off after about three weeks of daily treatment with the two creams. But other tags turn red and become about twice their normal size. Then in one or two days they shrivel up and fall off. Under the place the tags had been is just normal, flawless skin.

I have been using your products (Trireduction basic with a hydroxy acid as well as the CP Serum) and love everything they have done for my skin so far. I am 37 years old, have had oily skin and constant problems with breakouts since my teens. Since using your products, my skin has almost complete "normalized". It is never oily, nor has it dried out in the least from the products. I never need a moisturizer (and it's winter) and the best part if that I almost never breakout anymore. It's amazing! This is the absolute best my skin has ever looked. All the skin-tags on my neck are also completely gone.

SV, Massachusetts

When I first started using the TriRed[uction]. I immediately had two of my 4 skin tags on my neck get crusty and fall off...that sure convinced me that these products work and work well.

I just wanted to write and say how impressed I am with your products.
One month ago, I bought TriReduction and 2% Exfol Serum to help get rid of the 300 or so skin tags on my neck. In one month, I can happily say, that the majority of them are gone, and in their place is smooth, new skin, that looks and feels great.
I had gone to a dermatologist, and he tried freezing about 50 off the first time, and NONE of them disappeared. Your products gave me the results I wanted. Since then, I am telling everyone I know about them.

TK @apci.com

I initially purchased TriReduction P&R with Retinol and Exfol Serum to remove skin tags. After using these products for more than 2 months with no success, I followed your suggestion and applied a stronger hydroxy acid followed by the TriReduction P&R with Retinol. After a couple weeks, several skin tags have fallen off and the rest are turning black and shriveling up. Since skin tags seem to appear out of nowhere, do any of your products prevent skin tag growth or is the only prevention to treat the tag when it first appears and is small? While the stronger hydroxy acid has worked for me, the treatment process can be very uncomfortable at times (especially when the tag swells) and I was wondering if there's a way to prevent skin tags from growing in the first place. Thanks for your help!

C @aol.com

Skin Biology - Maybe just using a cream like P&R 3 would prevent them. Or just apply your Trired to areas where tags form. Removing tags this way can be irritating but it is better than cutting them out.

I've recently started using the P&R with Retinol, but I'm unsure how to apply it to the skin tags. Do I rub it in so it disappears or do I leave a big blue glob on the skin tag? If I want to use it on my whole face to even out skin tone and reduce acne scaring, should I rub it in or leave a thin layer. It seems to flake off and fall of if I leave it on thickly?

I've already had some skin tags fall off and I love the product.

N @academicplanet.com

Skin Biology - Do both. Rub it in and then glob more on the tag.

The TriReduction with Retinol and Exfol Cream is the only product that removes skin tags. We even send this product to Malaysia for skin tag removal.

I used about half of the jar of the improved Night Eyes you sent me. I am still not sure of how well it worked for me. For some reason I felt I was getting better results from the BND there, though I cannot really articulate why. I will still rotate it in from time to time just for variety.

SG @attbi.com

My roommate has had number of skin tags on her neck and upper back that prevented her from allowing her pet parrot to set on her shoulders. Her bird kept picking at them and it was very painful. (yes, this IS a true story!) I gave her a little tub of P&R Basic mixed with hydroxy acid product and suggested that she try it as I had read that it would make the tags fall off.

Guess what? They DID! Inside of two weeks they were all gone. I, of course, take full credit. It was, after all, my idea.

Then she was complaining about sun damaged on her face. She had some really dry spots, some open sores and discoloration. When I told her she could use the same tub of mixed cream on her face she was very surprised and thrilled to try it.

Guess what? In less than one week the open sores were healing, her skin tone was evening out and she was noticing that her "sandpaper" skin was becoming smoother.

Which brings me to my next rave--the exfol is great, much better performing for me than the Paula's Choice 1 and 2% BHA sol'ns. I use it on my neck sometimes too, as a skin tag preventative!!

Another big rave for the BND cream. I like it alot as an eye cream too. I used it generously on my neck and chest areas when I was pregnant and using a 70% AHA peel to remove the skin tags. After a month or so of thrice weekly peels and 1-2x daily application of the BND, I am happy to say I have not had any more skin tags. Now I use it on my neck/chest a few times a wk and under my eyes on the nights I don't use the SC.

I MUST say that even though it's only been a little under two weeks, Skin Biology products are without a doubt the best things I've ever put on my skin!

Not only is my face looking a little better...but, even better, the little skin tags I had on my neck are gone! Just from using Tri-reduction! I had read somewhere on the board that someone had gotten rid of them using SuperCop, but since I couldn't get the SuperCop I thought I'd try the Tri-reduction. I used it twice a day, with Exfol and also a drop of Super CP Serum, all rubbed vigorously in the proper order into the tags. The places got very irritated and scabbed a little, but I kept on. The largest one I had (not very big, about 1/3 of the size of a small kernel of corn) just "exfoliated" away tonight. Rubbed right off as I was washing my face & neck!

I'm so happy about this I can't say...I never had any of these things until about five years ago, and even though I didn't have very many at all I HATED them profoundly. Several really tiny ones came off in the last several days, but the one tonight was the biggest, and the main "target." I had even planned to have it cut off after I got out of school, but thanks to Dr. Pickart and Skin Biology I won't have to! I'm convinced.

I am amazed at how well your products are working!

I began applying BioHeal in the morning and evening on the skin tags I have and after the first week one of them began to turn red and then fell off the following week! This has become the pattern for the larger skin tags. With one turning red and falling off, then another, and so on. I get so excited every time I begin to see one turn red! The smaller skin tags just keep getting smaller until they disappear too. YEA!

I'm using the TriReduction with Retinol and a hydroxy acid in the morning and evening on stretchmarks I've had for 15 years on my hips, thighs and buttocks. They are fading! Only after one month of using TriReduction creams! I'm speechless and beyond ecstatic!

Prior to receiving the TriReduction creams, I was applying Retin-A 0.1% in the morning and evening to the stretchmarks for about three months and all that seemed to do was cause extreme redness, soreness, and some peeling, with no fading. I do understand that Retin-A usually causes those reactions, but to go through that amount of discomfort and not see any results is disappointing. ........ However, to apply the TriReduction creams to the entire area and have the prior reactions soothed and no reaction, just smooth, glowing, firmer looking skin the next day after application, plus fading stretchmarks within a month! WOW!

As for my face.... I bought an expensive skin care program that's sold through the office of a plastic surgeon. The system consisted of Retin-A 0.1% and other creams, one of which was a bleaching cream to be used in the morning and evening - this was the "aggressive" approach - through three skin cycles. For me that was about four months of enduring peeling, flaking, cracking, and bright redness. I have auburn hair. I clashed with my own face! I did this in hope of eliminating acne scarring and improving pore size and overall skin health. Okay, my skin was now beyond white and did look healthier, but the acne scars? Humph...They did not improve, nor did my big pores become smaller. Actually, my nose began breaking out constantly. This started after I'd been using the products a couple of months! The redness and flaking never did completely stop, even after I modified the program to the "maintenance" phase. Then I came across the Skin Biology website and ordered! With a new hope, my last hope, short of dermabrasion or laser peeling.
I began using the TriReduction creams on my face and I could see improvement immediately! I also use hydroxy acids, P&R#3, BioHeal, CP Serum, Exfol Serum and Day Cover in rotational patterns (experimenting with those products). Every product is incredible! My skin glows, the acne scarring appears to be healing, and the pores are smaller! MIRACLE!

How could I forget, I don't breakout anymore, anywhere! Yes, I was still getting zits. Sometimes very swollen - would last for a couple of months acne - on the "bank breaking" program! Now I don't even have to worry that I'm going to wake up with a blemish of any kind, on my face. I know that with the use of these products that my skin is healthy and healing. For the first time in thirteen years of having skin problems, my face glows, feels and is looking flawless as a treasured porcelain doll. With all my heart, thank you. ........Truly, they are miracle creams.

I've used the Tri Reduction combo for skin tags with wonderful results.

BB @aol.com

Skin tags and sun damage marks (actinic keratosis or solar keratosis) are unwanted or extraneous pieces of skin that protrude from the surface of the skin. In general, they are innocuous, but can be esthetically offensive. Dermatologists usually remove them with lasers, surgically, with liquid nitrogen as the dermatologist deems best.

Many skin tags and sun damage marks can be removed with the combination of hydroxy acids and SRCPs. The SRCP and the hydroxy acid are rubbed into the skin lesion daily. After about two to four month many tags and marks will either turn brown and fall off the skin or sometimes they redden and swell for a few days, then also fall off.

Any skin lesion that is infected, looks very abnormal or appears to be dark and has irregular borders should be promptly checked by a physician.

If you have very sensitive skin, always start with our mildest copper peptide: Super GHK-Copper Cream.

3

If LacSal Cream's hydroxy acid irritates the skin tag, it may become reddened. You may wish to reduce the frequency of application to avoid the irritation, but try to find a schedule to keep applying the creams on a regular basis.

You can use the SRCP products also in the morning but because of the blue color, most people prefer evening use.
