Folligen for Blondes
Folligen for Blondes was formulated with tin peptide and is safe for use on blond or bleached hair that might pick up a slight tint from the blue Folligen formulations.
Post Hair Transplant Scalp Health
Copper-peptides were first used in 1984 for skin transplantation. The bathing of skin transplants in 1% copper-peptide solution produced greatly improved graft acceptance and improved scalp health. The inclusion of 5% DMSO in the copper-peptide mixture improved transplant acceptance even further.
In the copper peptide treated areas, 42% of patients were found to exhibit less redness and crusting (typical hair transplant problems) than on the placebo side, versus 17% who were more successful with the saline. Redness and crusting were slightly milder in the copper peptide treated group (75% none-to-mild for copper peptides, and 58% for placebo). The copper peptide treated side showed better hair regrowth at 4, 8, and 12 weeks, compared to the placebo side. The patients felt that the copper peptide treated hairs had greater body, shine, and texture than those on the placebo-treated side.

Folligen Products for the Health of Transplanted Hair
Optimize scalp health while recovering from hair transplants and reduce hair transplant scars. Folligen can help improve scalp health and hair vitality. Use Folligen only after the transplant is healed over.
Bleached, or very blond hair may pick up a green tint if Folligen is in contact with the hair. This is similar to the greenish-tint that may occur after spending time in swimming pools. The blue color can be removed with a solution of 1 part of lemon juice and 4 parts of water.
If the coloring is a problem, then use Folligen for Blondes which has no blue color.
Use Emu Oil S Lipid Replenisher on top to facilitate penetration.
Typical results take approximately 4-6 weeks of consistent use.
