Cleanse skin with Gentle Clean Liquid Cleanser
In the morning and evening gently cleanse the skin with this specially formulated cleanser for "at-risk" skin.
Clean the infected skin with 3% hydrogen peroxide
HIV/AIDS skin conditions carry special dangers of infection. Many of our customers report good results by pre-washing infected skin with 3% hydrogen peroxide for sterilization.
Apply BioHeal or Protect & Restore to the skin area
For irritated and cracked skin, use a light coating of BioHeal once daily as needed. For skin sores and ulcers, put the BioHeal around the edge of the ulcers. Leave in for at least 6 to 8 hours. This aids skin healing from the outer edge of the ulcers. BioHeal is not FDA-approved for use within the ulcer area.
Apply Emu Oil S for Skin lightly on top
After applying BioHeal, use Emu Oil S Lipid Replenisher for Skin, a biological healing oil with antioxidants, to relieve soreness and irritation.
The cream really worked! before that sores took forever to heal and patches of raw, irritated skin would develop. This is the only product that ever helped my skin.

I have skin problems associated with AIDS. Before using this product, my skin was red, sore, and irritated. After using the product for about 10 days, my skin felt more comfortable. looked better, and I've recommended the cream to my friends.

After using BioHeal for a short time on my face, it began to lighten the dark spot. I was so happy that I found something that really worked. Thanks!

Subject: Great Product
Your copper blue cream really helps with my multiple skin annoyances associated with living with HIV for 14 years and AIDS now for 5 years. BioHeal is wonderful for my face to keep down the usually exudative type mycotic lesions and pretty infectious irritations which are gone now after the Bioheal cream.
I would like to market your product in this area. Please call me.

I had kept getting areas of bruised and sore skin. Now with Bioheal my skin is staying in good health.

This is really a great product. I kept getting an eczema from my HIV infection. BioHeal is keeping my facial skin looking rather good. I feel a lot better about myself when look into a mirror now.

As you know, several members of our family have been using the product Protect & Restore®. We have had some interesting results with the product that we would like to report to you.
My oldest son has been diagnosed with a chronic viral syndrome. One of the symptoms of the active phase of that syndrome is an outbreak of skin lesions similar to impetigo in appearance. It is not impetigo and does not yield to antibiotics that would usually be used on a skin streptococcus type bacteria. He has had good results in healing these lesions with your product. We have not left some lesions untreated as controls, so it is impossible to say at this time just how much of a reduction in healing time he had, but it was significant enough that he intends to use the product for future outbreaks.
He also had a darkened area on his cheekbone due to extended exposure to the sun. This sun spot completely disappeared after use of the product. This is significant because of the crusty nature of the spot which made it appear to be precancerous sun damage. He is now using the product on uneven skin tones resulting from too much sun in Mexico a week ago.
Sincerely,
IF, Washington State
HIV infection presents constant difficulties to maintaining dermal health. Small abrasions and cuts heal very slowly because of the depressed immune function. Skin rashes, sores, and chronic irritation are common. Skin infections are a constant threat that can rapidly become annoying exudative lesions and mycotic infections.
BioHeal is a skin repair invention to help maintain skin health and enhance skin repair in skin conditions that may led to more serious skin damage, scarring, and infections. Clients with the skin problems associated with HIV have reported good skin healing when using BioHeal. Bioheal has demonstrated strong skin repair properties in many animal studies. In animals made immuno-suppressed by pre-treatment with cortisone, H. Paul Ehrlich found the SRCPs restored normal healing and collagen synthesis. Read about studies...
Tests on BioHeal® and Protect & Restore® by BioResearch Labs (Redmond, WA) detected no bacteria in the creams after incubation in bacterial growth media at 37 degrees centigrade for one week. When the cream was applied to cultures of pathogenic microorganisms found in infected wounds, it was found to strongly inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacterial common to wounds, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus faecalis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
The improvement of skin health in HIV patients has always been a goal at Skin Biology.
BioHeal is designed to improve skin health but is not a substitute for regular skin care and medical care by a physician or other qualified health care professional.
Some clinicians recommend against the use of hydrogen peroxide on damaged skin and state that it increases skin damage. However, our reviews of the medical literature have found many reports of improved skin healing after washes of hydrogen peroxide at low concentrations (1% to 10%). However, skin damage is occasionally observed at higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide. So any use of hydrogen peroxide on damaged skin should use concentrations of 1% to 3% and no higher.
Typical results take approximately 4-6 weeks of consistent use.
